All Home Remedies is an educational, physician-led resource for home remedies. To keep this site free to read, we may run advertising and commercial partnerships. This policy explains exactly what we allow, how we label it, and the absolute boundaries that protect our medical-editorial content.
Our work is produced by named physicians, including our Medical Director, Dr. Asim (MBBS, MD), and our medical reviewers Dr. Ali, Dr. Parishay, and Dr. Farhan (all MBBS). No advertiser, sponsor, or commercial partner has any influence over what these doctors write or how we rate a home remedy.
The Absolute Rule: Ads Never Influence Editorial Content
This is the single most important rule on this site:
Advertisers, sponsors, and commercial partners have no influence over our medical content, our reviews, or our ratings of any home remedy.
Our editorial team makes every recommendation based on safety, evidence, and clinical judgment. An advertiser cannot pay for a positive mention, a higher rating, or a place inside our medical content. If a remedy is not supported by evidence, we say so regardless of any advertising relationship. Any ad or partner that attempts to influence editorial output is removed and the relationship is ended.
Types of Advertising We May Run
Where advertising appears, it is clearly separated from editorial content. The types of advertising we may use include:
- Display network ads — banner and box ads served by third-party ad networks. These are placed in reserved ad slots and never inside medical pages.
- Contextual ads — ads matched to the general topic of a page. Matching is automated and does not imply endorsement.
- Native ads — paid content that matches the look of our site. Native ads are always labeled so you can distinguish them from editorial material.
- Affiliate links — links to products we mention, through which we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. These are covered in our Affiliate & Funding Disclosure.
Advertising partners, when used, will be listed here; this page will be updated as partnerships begin or end.
How You Can Tell Advertising From Editorial Content
We make it easy to tell paid material apart from our doctors’ content:
- Every advertisement is labeled “Ad” or “Advertising”.
- Native or sponsored placements are labeled “Sponsored”.
- Paid content that appears alongside pages is visually separated and clearly marked.
- Editorial health content is never written by advertisers, and no medical page is paid for by a third party.
If you ever see something that does not look clearly labeled, please tell us via our Contact page so we can fix it.
Sponsored Content
On rare occasions we may publish sponsored content — for example, an informational feature paid for by a partner. If we do, it will always:
- Be clearly labeled “Sponsored by a partner” at the top of the piece.
- Never be presented as, or mixed with, medical editorial content or health advice written by our doctors.
- Follow the same standards for truthfulness and safety as all other content on this site.
Sponsored content does not appear inside our doctor-reviewed remedy pages. Our doctors do not write or approve paid placements as medical advice.
What We Never Accept
We do not run advertising or partnerships that promote:
- Products or remedies that make unproven, “miracle,” or “cure-all” claims.
- Content that could encourage anyone to delay or skip professional medical care.
- Tobacco, vaping, or other products that present significant health harms.
- Services that promise to diagnose or treat medical conditions without evidence.
- Any advertisement that is deceptive, misleading, or that impersonates editorial content.
If a proposed ad or sponsor does not meet these standards, we decline it.
Your Controls
You are never required to interact with ads. You can:
- Use your browser’s ad-blocking tools or extensions.
- Opt out of personalised advertising through the cookie settings described in our Cookie Policy.
- Choose to ignore affiliate links and buy products directly from retailers if you prefer.
- Read our site without clicking any ad — all core medical content is free and does not require viewing ads.
We also respect industry standards and provide controls where available from our ad partners.
Our Commitment to You
Regardless of any advertising or commercial relationship, our health content is written and reviewed by our named doctors. Advertising revenue never changes that. If we are not confident a remedy is safe and supported, we will not present it as effective — no ad budget can change that decision.
